A.S.A.V. Aquila

The Amsterdam Student Athletics Association (A.S.A.V.) Aquila was founded in 2003 to promote student athletics in Amsterdam. Both recreational runners and serious track and field athletes are welcome to join us, our membership is free for students. We organize every Thursday evening a running training/practice in the Vondelpark, for track athletes we offer help with finding an appropriate civil association in or around Amsterdam. For all our members we organise athletes teams to participate in major events like the students Batavierenrace and NSK teams. Advantage membership that gives Aquila discount on participation fees for students and events that you kept informed about all these events. Members of another athletics or running group can become a member of Aquila and take advantage of this discount and information. Finally, Aquila organizes every first Friday of the month a drink for all its members.
